Ace in the Hole

I finally decided to make a manga.. and here is my perliminary sketch. I tried to make it look like a cover page, but the drawing was not clean enough so it looks kinda crappy. Anyway..

The manga is called Ace in the Hole, and for those of you not familiar with card terms it means a hidden advantage. The reason I choose that title is because the dogs name is Ace, and it's rather ironic. The manga will follow a homeless girl and her dog as they go through obstacles and the like. Their names are Hana and Ace. Hana is very reluctant towards others, and spends her time as a street musician (she plays guitar) trying to earn money. Her dog Ace is a dumb but lovable male pit bull.

There are a lot of homeless people where I live and I feel it's an important subject. I'm really excited about this, so hopefully it will turn out as good as I want it to.
